"The secret garden"

The groups of 3th ESO are watching "The secret garden". It's a film adapted from a novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett published in 1911. It is now one of Burnett's most popular novels, and is considered to be a classic of English children's literature. The plot is very simple but gripping and moving. Of course you are going to be asked about some different aspects of the film so relax and enjoy it but watch it thoroughly.

The karate kid

The whole group of 4th ESO is enjoying the film "The karate kid". After watching it, you are going to complete a test about the film. Questions on the plot, characters or vocabulary are likely to be asked so, watch it carefully and have fun!

Sonja Bricker, an American teacher in Colmenar

Yesterday, the students from 2º and 3º level were given the opportunity to attend a conference by Sonja Bricker, an American teacher of Spanish in Seattle, Washington. She is travelling around Andalusia by bike and shared her experience with us. We learnt about teenagers' life in the USA, and later on, she interviewed some of your classmates to use those interviews as material for her students to learn some things about your life in Spain. We think it was very enriching experience for you to have the chance to listen to a native English speaker. Write your comments. We want to know what you think about it.

ANDALUSIAN DAY

On Friday 24th we celebrated the Andalusian Day. We prepared posters about English and American films which had been filmed in our region. We think it has been an interesting and motivating work. These are your posters! Well done everyone!!!!
